Production Manager - Packaging Location:
Onsite in Kansas City, Kansas Our client is a well-respected provider of packaging services for the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage industry with an opportunity for a Production Manager to join their team.
The Production Manager will manage the labor and materials needed to meet production and customer needs.
You will have 4 direct reports and will report to the Plant Manager.
• Experience in a supervisory Production role with salaried direct reports in the food/beverage manufacturing industry required
• Compensation/Benefits:

You will be accountable for the production department to ensure efficiency and the highest quality products are produced at the lowest cost to meet customer demands Ensure all facility equipment is maintained and up to company standards Monitor quality metrics daily and provide recommendations on solutions Prepare and conduct periodic internal and external audits Establish and maintain annual production budget Education & Experience Needed:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, OR a minimum of five years of progressive job experience in the food/beverage industry Working knowledge of the principles of manufacturing management, supply chain capabilities, Good Manufacturing Practices and LEAN Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety guidelines and requirements Knowledge of and experience with ISO (22000, 9000, 14001, etc.) or similar management system I would welcome the opportunity to share more information about this role, to understand what you are looking for, and how that may align with our open opportunities!
