Junior PHP Programmer

The Junior PHP Developer's main responsibility is to assist development of our custom internal software applications. This position is part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing new features and performing bug fixes for employees using our PHP based business system applications. Other duties might include bug testing our customer applications for new releases and other technical tasks as knowledgebase is proven.

Here's what you will be doing:

• Write code in various computer languages to build and edit application architecture.
• Testing programs for errors and fixing faulty code.
• Debugging programs to fix errors.
• Work with our development team on application design.
• Review client-side and server-side architecture.
• Help build front end applications utilizing existing APIs.
• Assist with final code review QA / Testing
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Train departments of new features and releases.
• Work with departments on features and fixes.
• Write technical documentation.

• Familiarity with Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Apache, MySQL
• Working knowledge of how APIs work
• Preferred but not required knowledge of Git, PHP frameworks, Docker, general networking
• Self-motivated; requiring minimal management and willingness to learn
