What this job involves
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Facilities Planner to join our team:
Location : Juncos, Puerto Rico.
Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Work model: On site.
Contract Type : Indefinite-term / Regular.
The facilities planner provides an efficient planning & scheduling for all maintenance and operations encompassed in the CMMS tools. Is responsible for coordinating scheduling, planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up of all tasks required for building-based lab maintenance. This includes interpreting data from the CMMS work order system and scheduling all emergency and general maintenance repairs to equipment and lab space.
What is your day to day?
Provide work order planning and scheduling function for a self-directed work team
Provide logistical coordination with other stakeholders (i.e. spare parts, janitorial, facilities, system owners, security, and building clients).
Maintain intermediate to high computer skills necessary to access CMMS work order system, update equipment history, and access parts/material inventory management system.
Monitor and present performance data to different operational teams weekly.
Support company KPIs and contract metrics in alignment with client standards.
Complies with all client CMMS standards and specifications to ensure database integrity and standardization.
Collects data and collaborates with operations team to optimize maintenance programs.
Maintains liaison with facilities technicians and management regarding work execution, necessity of altering schedules and manpower status.
Tracks all asset information, including spare parts and documentation.
Continuous improvement of the work planning and scheduling process through the review and use of maintenance metrics, analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations.
Provides weekly reports to facility managers, identifies risks and gaps and provides resolution plans.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, business administration, Associate degree or related.
3-4 years of experience in facilities, working with strict planning and scheduling protocols for operations and maintenance.
Experience in planning and scheduling using CMMS systems.
1 year+ of experience in a Critical Environment is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Skills desired:
Excellent client relation skills and customer service-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to make routine onsite visits to work areas, and different environments.
