Job Captain

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects and proprietary information.
Assist project managers and designers in developing project documents for bidding and construction.
Assist projects from beginning to end, during the Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration phases.
Maintain a clear understanding of the project lifecycle and what deliverables are required at each project phase.
Responsible for the development and coordination of the drawings and, schedule commitments and project research.
Advise the project architect when the drawings and specifications are complete.
Provide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project.
Challenge actively (constructively) and voice relevant concerns; coach and teach others on the team to engage constructively in meetings and encourage vibrant discourse.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of Revit as delivery platform
Working knowledge of Sketch-Up and/or Rhino as design platform
Ease of communication
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive work habits
Preferred Skillsets:

Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with commercial projects highly desirable
2-7 years' experience
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to well independently and as a team player
Experience and Education:

Bachelor of Architecture is required.
2-5 years related experience with commercial projects.
