As an IT Infrastructure Analyst I / II specializing in Workstation Engineering, you'll be at the forefront of tackling technical challenges, enhancing system reliability, and driving continuous improvement.

Hardware Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware issues to maintain top-tier workstation functionality and minimize downtime.
System Performance Optimization: Perform detailed analyses to uncover improvement opportunities and implement strategies to ensure robust and reliable systems.
Technical Project Management: Lead and participate in projects aimed at advancing workstation engineering and IT infrastructure capabilities.
Process Enhancement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, optimizing the performance and scalability of workstation environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration, operation, and support of workstation technologies.

Minimum Requirements
IT Infrastructure Analyst I | Workstation Engineering
Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
AND one (1) year of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Requires basic technical subject matter knowledge within a job area or system
IT Infrastructure Analyst II | Workstation Engineering
AND two (2) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Requires working technical knowledge gained through experience within a job area or system.
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications
Knowledge of network/infrastructure operating systems and equipment, such as servers, PCs, switches, routers, and emerging technologies
Troubleshooting and resolution practices
System performance analysis techniques; installation, configuration, optimization and maintenance techniques of infrastructure;
Windows, VM and Linux servers operations;
Lifecycle management techniques; security vulnerability practices;
Cisco routers, switches, firewall and malware protection practices;
Technical analysis and design techniques;
Information system operations and support; various service and support tools; design techniques for information and operational support systems;
Security and information data backup strategies;
Skill in effective communication to both technical and non-technical audiences
Skill in learning complex technical issues and acquiring technical knowledge; quickly learning and applying new technologies;
Working independently and as part of a team; using creative and innovative thinking to solve complex problems;
Analytical and problem solving capabilities; organizing multiple projects and timelines; demonstrating strong analytical capabilities
Major Accountabilities
1) Categorizes, isolates, and resolves basic system/network problems
2) Processes, documents, and coordinates resolution of calls with help desk
3) Implements software patches, security fixes, and tests and validates modified system configurations
4) Assists with maintenance and repairs of severs, hardware, services, storage and directories in accordance with APS requirements/standards
5) Helps complete basic configurations of servers, network equipment, telecommunication, mobile and data related systems
6) Performs system software upgrades, including planning and scheduling, testing and coordination.
7) Performs workstation and server administration setup
8) Performs data backups and recoveries
9) Ensures compliance with standards for systems software and documentation
10) Monitors system reliability and availability and performs simple analysis of system performance
