Job description:
In your new role you will:
Complete specific projects associated with
product transfers
Be assigned projects primarily by the Manager of Sustaining PDE; the Intern will work closely with a member of the Sustaining PDE staff to learn the required skills and complete tasks
Use established
software tools
to review the
performance of device invalidation and qualification phases
of the design/transfer process.
Assist lead Sustaining PDE with
completion and interpretation of qualification reports
to support product transfers
Your Profile:
You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:
Minimum of 3 years of progress
toward a
BS in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
Ability to understand the impact of
key performance parameters
in a product dataset, and to
identify patterns and trends
within data
Completion of/exposure to
coursework in statistics
is desired
This individual must be able to
effectively communicate
in written and verbal English
Strong skills in
technical report writing
are required
This individual should be comfortable using the
MS Office suite
of programs, particularly
Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with
JMP software tool
is preferred
Experience in an
electronics lab
would be helpful, especially in evaluating
semiconductor devices
and interpreting the resulting datasets
Eagerness to learn and ability to communicate
technical results
to technical and non-technical audiences
Desire to work with others, yet able to work alone on individual tasks with minimum supervision
Ability to draw conclusions based on collected
data
US citizen or green card holder : This internship requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
