Position:

Oncology Nurse
Reports to:

Oncology Nurse Manager
Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients with cancer and related conditions.
Responsibilities:

Assess patients' physical and emotional needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
Administer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other cancer treatments.
Monitor patients for side effects of cancer treatments and manage symptoms.
Educate patients and families about cancer, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Assist with procedures, such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
Collaborate with oncologists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
