Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate directly with renowned customers to develop and deploy new server hardware and firmware (BIOS/RAID/DMI/FRU).
Resolve technical issues by working closely with internal and field engineers to identify, track, root cause, and fix problems.
Support internal manufacturing and customer service teams effectively.
Contribute ideas for next-generation server products by designing, building, and testing evaluation units that align with customer needs.
Balance design decisions regarding cost, cooling efficiency, power usage, form factor, reliability, and project-specific optimizations.
Evaluate cutting-edge hardware and firmware technologies at both component and platform levels.
Conduct and analyze power and performance benchmarks on new server hardware.
Refine standard tests to enhance new technologies and more effectively meet customer demands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support overall company goals.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
In-depth understanding of server component architecture and design (motherboards, hard drives, RAM, CPUs, cooling systems, etc.).
Familiarity with power-related components (power supplies, PDUs, VRMs) and control interfaces (PMBus, IPMI).
Ability to troubleshoot x86-based systems and diagnose both hardware and software issues.
Proficient in administering various operating systems, with knowledge of Python and Linux distributions like RedHat, SuSe, and Debian being a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small team setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and process orientation.
Self-motivated and proactive.
The salary for this position is between $91,500 and $123,500, depending on experience.
