SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee the security of our information systems, ensuring all security requirements are met and the systems are properly configured and protected.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage and oversee compliance and policy aspects related to Information Assurance for systems and networks handling government information.
Demonstrate familiarity with Defense Security Service (DSS) Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Tool.
Collaborate with the Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) and corporate leadership to maintain cyber and physical security standards.
Act as the ISSM for classified computers in DoD and Intelligence Community environments.
Oversee day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of Information Systems, including security event log analysis.
Ensure compliance with government policies regarding system security measures, and manage configuration effectively.
Maintain a robust understanding of NIST 800-53 controls, documenting implementations in the Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM).
Conduct technical inspections to identify and address potential security weaknesses in systems.
Monitor and manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to mitigate vulnerabilities in assigned Information Systems.
Review and maintain comprehensive security assessment and authorization documentation.
Perform any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience as an ISSM, with supervisory experience over at least one Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
Proven experience in classified computing environments such as ICD-705, DoDI's 8500.01 & 8510.01, and NIST SP 800-53.
Ability to secure systems following RMF framework and STIGs standards.
Possess a technical certification such as CompTIA Security + CE, CASP, CISSP, or equivalent.
Be capable of addressing security incidents impacting information systems.
Exhibit technical skills for managing assigned systems effectively.
Maintain a valid Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
Hold a Department of Defense 8570.01 Certification of IAT Level II Security+ CE or obtain certification within 6 months of hiring.
This role requires compliance with Export Control requirements and necessitates being a 'US Person' as defined by ITAR.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
Additional technical certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA A+, Net+.
3-5 years of experience in a desk-side support role for end users.
3-5 years of supporting Windows 10 desktop operating systems.
3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
3-5 years of experience using desktop imaging tools.
3-5 years of experience with enterprise Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware tools.
3-5 years of supporting users with remote management tools.
3-5 years of experience with mobile devices, including Apple/Android.
3-5 years of experience with peripheral devices.
Experience with CATIA, CNC machine controls, and VeriSurf Laser tracking software is a plus.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel primarily between Santa Ana, CA and Irvine, CA.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work typically involves sitting for extended periods at a computer workstation.
May involve accessing and working in the manufacturing plant.
Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally caustic chemicals may occur.
Noise levels in the work environment are usually moderate.
Travel to other site locations may be required.
Occasional weekend work may be necessary to meet demands.
Adhere to safety protocols while working in manufacturing settings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
