Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulations, including
DCSA
(Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency) requirements,
NIST 800-53 , and
JSIG
(Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide)
Lead the security risk assessment and mitigation processes for assigned information systems
Oversee vulnerability management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into system designs and operational processes
Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related audits and assessments
Train and guide team members on security best practices, emerging threats, and compliance requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in information security, risk management, or a related field
Working knowledge of DCSA, NIST 800-53, and JSIG
Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment tools
Comprehensive knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Must hold a DoD Directive 8140 IAM Level III baseline certification or equivalent
