The White Construction team is looking for a Estimator to join the team.

The Estimator will work with a team to complete the due diligence necessary to estimate the cost of work associated with a project.
The Estimator will also oversee the client bid submittal process.

RESPONSIBILITES

Communicate with owners, subcontractors and vendors
Review and understand contract specifications and drawings
Identify, define and quantify potential project risks
Perform quantity take-offs and scope review for estimate preparation
Develop pricing based on historical production data
Evaluate and compare subcontractor/supplier quotes
Conduct site visits and perform research prior to bid
Assist other staff with subcontractor bid list preparation
Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

B.S.
in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum of 5 years prior experience
Prior experience in earth moving, bridges, structural or underground utilities preferred

Combination of equivalent education and work experience may be consideredPOSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be authorized to work in the US now and in the future without company sponsorship.

TRAINING

Safety and compliance training on the job.
