Empowered Staffing is proud to partner with a fast-growing healthcare organization that owns and operates skilled nursing facilities across Illinois. As it continues to expand, the company is looking for a strategic Vice President of Finance to join its executive team in Skokie, IL!
As the VP of Finance, you will play a key role in shaping the accounts receivable and revenue cycle management functions for the company, implementing innovative processes to enhance efficiencies, and finding opportunities to streamline operations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee business offices for all nursing facilities, managing accounting operations, revenue cycle management, and financial planning.
Supervise the preparation of accounting reports and statistical statements, keeping the executive team informed on budget status and financial trends.
Continuously assess processes, recommending and implementing changes to boost efficiency.
Recommend strategies to reduce operating costs and increase revenues, enhancing financial health and sustainability.
Advise on requirements from federal, state, and third-party agencies, ensuring all business practices meet regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles in the skilled nursing industry.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial management, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
Proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
