About the Role:
We are seeking a Relief Driver to join our team in the retail trade industry. As a Relief Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. You will be required to operate a delivery vehicle and follow all traffic laws and safety regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with customers will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues or concerns to management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid CDL driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the retail trade industry
Familiarity with delivery routes in the Peoria area
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
Operate delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues or concerns to management
Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Skills:
As a Relief Driver, you will use your driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. Your communication and customer service skills will be essential in providing a positive experience for our customers. Additionally, your ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate records will help ensure the smooth operation of our delivery service. Your familiarity with delivery routes and ability to lift and move heavy items will also be beneficial in this role.
