• Job Overview:

As a Maintenance Technican, you?ll be responsible for providing exceptional support to residents of a large community development in the Chicago suburbs.
This opportunity is available at a property in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
• Your Responsibilities:
•
+ Maintain grounds, including sidewalks, snow removal, gutter cleaning, wood replacement, drywall, collecting trash, etc.
+ Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
+ Remove snow and ice from front and rear entrances, walks, ramps, and garbage can areas as needed.
+ Maintain mailroom in neat and clean order.
+ Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, setting up tables and chairs for Board Meetings.
+ Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems. Report damage, stains, or necessary repairs to the Community Association Manager.
+ Report to manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress.
+ Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
+ Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

• Skills & Qualifications:
•
+ High school diploma or equivalent and 1 years? previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
+ Ability to engage law enforcement, when necessary, to promote public safety.
+ Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
+ Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
+ Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
+ Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
+ Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
+ Superior oral and written communication skills.
