RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Controller include, but are not limited to:

Involvement in strategic financial planning for the organization
Run the accounting department and manage the team; staff accountants, AR/AP
Internal financial auditing
Digital transformation
Continuous improvement of processes
Reporting and analysis, communicating results to leadership
Foster and maintain relationships with banks, outside auditors and accounting firms
Cash flow and tax optimization
Budgeting cycle, capital spending, business insurance
FP&A
Metric creation and management of Key Performance Indicators
Cost reduction planning and costing accuracy
Asset management
Cost accounting
Organizational structure and development
Regulatory compliance

*This is a full-time, in-person position operating out of the Lake in the Hills, IL location.QUALIFICATIONSRequired

CPA or CMA
10 years Controller experience
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Financial Planning & Analysis experience
Month end reporting, budgeting and Key Performance Indicator responsibilities
Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with payroll and ERISA laws

Preferred

Manufacturing industry experience
Experience working for an international organization
Experience working for a company with multiple enterprises

Desired

Enterprise financial planning
Demonstrated turnaround activity
Experience working with sales to develop a forecast as a component of the budget

Salary: $125k - $145k + bonus
