Account Manager Chicago Air

An opportunity exists to join our dynamic Air team in Chicago as an Account Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person with a passion for growing the business to take on some of our top accounts.

To be successful you'll need to demonstrate a proven track record in excellent communication skills, attention to detail, market knowledge and an ability to plan and organize your time effectively.

Reporting to the Branch Manager your primary focus will be on developing existing business, gaining new trade lanes and deepening the relationships with our current accounts trading 3+ years.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an operational, or sales background and is looking to increase their knowledge and work with a dedicated operations team to provide quality and attention to our customers and grow our business.

A strong understanding of our Mainfreight Air & Ocean product and Global Supply Chain Network

Our Account Managers:

Will achieve goals through building relationships with customers that are focused on finding solutions and adding value to the customers' market
Identify leads through referrals and networking with new & existing customers
Prepare for and conduct business meetings with clients including initial and follow up fact finding presentations, solution, SOP building, and quarterly business reviews that lead to continued growth
Have an opportunity for significant growth in this position, in a professional and economic scope
We promote our team from within so we can provide many opportunities for our team to develop into management and senior leadership positions
