Job Title: Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist

Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required
License: Active Illinois state license required
Certifications: BLS, NBCOT
Must-Have:
• Acute Care experience
• Adaptive Equipment experience
• Pre-Discharge Planning skills
• Lifting and transfer skills
• Patient/Family Education skills
• Safety and injury prevention knowledge
• Telephone communication skills
• Documentation skills for Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, and Reassessments
• Manage a caseload of 50-60 patients in the OT unit.
• Willingness to work 1 weekend per month.
• No on-call requirements.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs; floating is required within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals.
• Participate in orientation and mandatory modules virtually on the first day.
• Complete necessary lab appointments, documentation, and badge requirements before the start.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler if previously a permanent or PRN employee with the facility.
