Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a Surgical Technologist-OR position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Rock Island, Illinois. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

$2300- $2400 Weekly DOE
Overview:
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist in the OR assists surgeons and the healthcare team during procedures to ensure a sterile and efficient environment. Key duties include preparing the operating room, arranging and sterilizing instruments, and ensuring equipment is ready for use. They also assist by passing instruments, holding retractors, and managing surgical specimens. After procedures, they help with patient transfer and equipment cleanup. This role requires precision, knowledge of surgical practices, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Op Preparation:
Set up the OR, sterilize instruments, and position patients.
Surgical Assistance:
Pass instruments, anticipate needs, handle specimens. Sterile Field Maintenance:
Keep a contamination-free environment.
Post-Op Tasks:
Transfer patients, clean OR, sterilize and restock equipment.
Collaboration:
Communicate with the surgical team and document accurately.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and report issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-year experience.
Must have License/Cert
Must have open heart experience
