What You Will Do:

Temporary Student Affairs Services Coordinator will provide essential support across a wide range of initiatives within our Student Affairs department.
This role is crucial for ensuring the effective management and execution of diverse projects and services aimed at enhancing the student and staff experience.
The ideal candidate will be an organized, adaptable, and enthusiastic professional, capable of contributing to various aspects of student services coordinator and project support.

This position is temporary and will likely end by December 20th, 2024.

Essential Responsibilities:

Student Services Coordination:
Offer comprehensive support in managing and monitoring the progress of multiple Student Affairs projects and services, including being the initial contact for certain accommodations, emergency support services, housing and residence life services, basic needs services, and auxiliary services.
Coordinate communication campaigns, activities, meetings, and collaborate with team members to resolve challenges, optimize processes, and facilitate the effective execution of student services.
Project Support:
Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of projects according to established objectives and guidelines.
Contribute to the development of project/service plans (standard operating procedures), timelines, and budgets including monthly events for the Center for Student Accessibility Resources and other Student Affairs offices dedicated to student access, integrity, and well-being.
Lead from conception to completion projects that improve student emergency support services, basic needs services, and emergency housing processes.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, required
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an office setting in either events management, project coordination, administrative support or other related work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Track record of solving problems and keeping projects organized
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and other relevant software applications
Adaptable and flexible work style with a positive attitude and ability to take on new challenges
