Senior Consultant, Management Consulting
Qualifications:
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
Critical goal level thinking, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail required
Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently producing accurate and 'client-ready' work
Absolute adherence to strict confidentiality and privacy considerations
Responsibilities Prepare, review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting workpapers in accordance with US GAAP and/or other bases of accounting for a variety of clients, with focus on the real estate and investment industries
Develop and/or improve accounting and reporting process for clients
Identify, understand, and implement accounting and other reporting software for clients
Develop relationships with clients, while becoming a main point of contact
Advise clients on accounting and general business practices
Preparation and review of payables associated with client operations
Perform monthly reconciliations to bank statements and other relevant source documents
Review expense classifications for reasonableness
Reconcile and settle accounts between related client entities
Work within a team to ensure client expectations are met
Communicate exceptions to supervisors, managers, and department head as applicable
Contribute to the growth of the department by participating in project work
