WHAT YOU WILL DO.

Role Objective: Applies clinical and system expertise to develop relationships with key stakeholders across a state(s) mental health ecosystem to build awareness/understanding of Kooth's service, and develop partnerships to integrate Kooth within healthcare, welfare, education, and community organizations.

Main responsibilities:

Build awareness and advocacy with strategic stakeholders in the state(s) behavioral health ecosystem:

Lead on engaging with and developing deep partnership relationships with state-wide non-profits, industry associations, and academics that represent the key stakeholders within the state(s) mental health ecosystem.

Co-lead, together with the Account Management Director role, to establish and maintain an effective relationship with the existing contract direct commissioners (State Department(s) and legislative sponsor) responsible for the system integration part of the contract.

Provide clinical representation for Kooth to the State's direct commissioning (and key stakeholder) government agencies to develop advocacy and provide assurance support, working with the clinical team internally as needed.

Work closely with the relevant Account Management Director to build awareness and advocacy within government agencies and departments.

Support the Account Management Director with the regular review of the contract and manage escalation/ad hoc requests internally.

Develop new partnerships and pathways to embed Kooth within education, welfare, community, and healthcare systems:

Identify new partnerships and promotion/referral pathways that will grow the uptake and impact of Kooth within underserved communities in the state. For example: how might we best work with the State's juvenile justice system?

In building out new partnerships and pathways, work closely with Kooth's Community Engagement team to enable us to scale up community engagement programs across the state and with Service Delivery and Clinical teams as needed to facilitate new pathways/partnerships.

Advance and promote clinical governance:

Have a clear understanding of our clinical governance approach and ensure it continues to align with best practice and evolving/current regulatory frameworks and collaborate with the clinical leadership team on any variance/opportunity.

Lead on the development of content and programs for key stakeholders (e.g. healthcare professionals, parents, educators, public agencies) to articulate Kooth's approach to clinical governance, safeguarding, and person-centric behavioral health care.

Support Kooth's research team in the development of relationships and research studies in California to demonstrate the therapeutic, social, and economic impact of our service.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING.

Education & Experience:

Ideal candidate will be physically located in Illinois or Michigan.

Professional qualification/accreditation in relevant areas of expertise (e.g., Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Health, or Public Health).

7+ years of experience working with mental health systems, partnerships, and/or advocacy or related fields.

Advanced strategic planning, critical and systems thinking, and advocacy skills.

Licensed clinical practitioner preferred.

Experience in the following areas:

Senior clinical or system leadership experience within the field of digital mental health.

Excellent strategic stakeholder and partnership relationship management.

Deep understanding and experience in the youth mental health ecosystem in the US: demand, providers, treatment, outcomes, barriers/obstacles.

Expertise in digital delivery and clinical governance of mental health services.

Demonstrable leadership experience within a commercial environment as well as highly complex and challenging settings including evidence of collaborating with a range of stakeholders as well as excellent communication skills.

Compensation : The base salary for this role will be $130-140K annually based on experience.
