The nurse will be working 8 hour days with some call being required.
Job RequirementsRequired Certifications:
BLSMust have a minimum of 2 years experience, prefer at least 1-2 travel assignments.
Schedule Information12 hours 9a-9p- rarely would work an overnight shift, may be asked to work overnights if night call team is on vacation or calls out sick.
Weeknight/Call Requirements:
Yes “ typically 4 hours following a scheduled shift.
Weekend/Call Requirements:
Yes “ 12 hour in-house day shift.
Volunteers first then once per month.
Holiday/Call Requirements:

Pediatric (all specialties and trauma) and adults.
General, DaVinci, Neuro-spines and cranis, Peds- scoliosis; Ortho-total joints, ortho trauma, some sports medicine, spica casts for peds, Urology-complicated cases, Davinci, kidney and prostate cases, cystos; Oncology (have an Oncology center attached to hospital); ENT, GYN-all cases including c-sections for accreta- L&D will do simple sections; Bariatrics- robotic or lap roux en y, sleeves, gastric bypass.
Floating Requirements:
Rarely float but would only to be to nearby surgery centers or possibly to Meridian or Nampa in OR.
If experienced with CVOR (robotic thoracic) may float here if there is a need.
Scrub Color/Dress Code:
Scrubs are provided by the hospital - grey.
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation:
Generally 1 week to include general and unit orientation.
