You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this position.
Working closely with the practice staff, this PRN/part-time employed psychiatrist will provide on-site consultation for diagnosis and therapeutic interventions for patients of the practice who have mental health problems. Position will provide medication management coverage for full-time psychiatrist during leave (PTO, vacation, CME). The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult patient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial interdisciplinary team, and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Schedule: Initially, one half-day per week; potential to expand hours to one day per week; varied coverage for FT psychiatrist's days out of office.

Requirements
•Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
•Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program
•Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
•Idaho medical licensure and medical staff privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA
