Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group seeking a board certified/board eligible Geriatrician to join a very unique multidisciplinary team-based clinic. This team supports our Memory Center and Geriatrics Consult Clinic and is comprised of Geriatricians, Neurologists, Geriatric Psychiatrist, Advance Practice Practitioners, Social Workers, Pharmacists, and a Chaplain. We have clinics in Boise, Nampa (20 minutes from Boise) and Eagle (15 minutes from Boise). Interested Physicians may potentially work from any of these locations, opt to make house calls and choose to engage in teaching as an attending to a geriatric fellow, residents, and medical students on geriatric rotations.
Schedule: Traditional weekday schedule consisting of a 4-day work week with direct fact-to-face patient care and 1 day dedicated for administrative responsibilities; a minimum of 34 hours of patient contact time.

Requirements
•Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
•Successful completion of an accredited internal medicine or family medicine residency program
•Geriatrics Expertise:
oCertificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or
oCertification of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), or
oCertification in the Subspecialty of Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or
oObtain such certification within 3 years of employment, or
oTen years of practice experience devoted primarily to the care of older patients
•Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (controlled substances), privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
