We are looking to add a Placement Specialist to join our Property Casualty team in Waukee, IA, Kansas City, MO or Sioux Falls, SD. Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential, there really is no place like Holmes!

Essential Responsibilities:

Independently perform the daily tasks required to efficiently manage placement of insurance for assigned Prospects.
Schedule Opportunity Calls - Dictate Notes and post.
Create Service Team document in preferred format and place in ImageRight.
Pull 5500 Reports.
Develop applications from raw data, such as current policies or specifications and information available on the internet.
Prepare Broker of Record letters, NCCI requests, Loss Run request letters.
Set up new prospects in the agency management system (AMS) and other appropriate software. Input policy information in AMS for smooth transition to the Client Experience Team.
Prepare submissions to include applications and various support documents, including any Captive documents.
Request and monitor process for the loss summary and experience mod forecast report gets completed.
Participates in team meetings and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma; college degree preferred.
Experience:
0-2 years' administrative/clerical experience in the insurance industry preferred.
Licensing:
Ability to obtain state-specific license within three months of employment and maintain license in the state of residence or office location by attending continuing education.
Technical Competencies:
Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs. Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance. Understands prospect operations, prioritizes information, manages status, and delivers impactful solutions.
