As an Administrative Assistant, you are the hub of the Retail department, providing administrative support while also representing our brand and values. This position will handle various administrative tasks, from supporting the Retail Banking Department, delivering internal and external customer service, completing account balancing requests and financial reports including documentation and data entry. In addition, you are expected to perform these tasks while maintaining professionalism and collaborating with team members as a role model. You are key in supporting the team and contributing to a productive work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Greet and welcome all customers to Security National Bank.
Answer phone and direct and/or assist customers.
Handle service related issues for customers including the following:
wire transfers, account inquiry, verification of deposit, notary services, online/e-banking concerns, and etc.
Maintain a basic knowledge of bank products and services to assess customer needs and refer suitable options to new and existing customers.
Perform Teller Line duties as needed or directed, including other local branches.
Perform administrative duties, including documentation and data entry, to support efficient processes and workflows within the department.
Assist the greater retail department by providing support in daily operations and ensuring compliance with established regulations and policies.
Generate detailed financial reports and complete account balancing requests.
Demonstrate initiative and drive in all tasks, taking ownership of responsibilities and proactively seeking opportunities for improvement.

Required for this position:
Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills. Has great attention to detail, understanding of banking, ability to identify missing items, advanced organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines, independent thinking, analytical skills, self-motivation, strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent
Cash handling experience
Customer service experience
2 years CSR/Teller experience preferred.
Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion

HOURS:

Regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Some extended business hours.
