This position is part of the Quote & Order Administration Team located in Coralville, Iowa and will be on-site.

Gather customer requirements to determine the corresponding product offering and services required for processing and configure customer orders using IDT systems and tools to generate accurate quotation documents and order recordsValidate configurable orders and contact customers to clarify requirements or handle order exceptionsDetermine lead time and availability for custom configurations and attain and document necessary approvals using resources and consultations with key stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, SalesAnswer and document inbound and outbound customer interactions and inquiries received by phone, email, or chat in IDT's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databaseContribute to team productivity through participation in Daily Management, development of knowledge resources, and achievement of targets for accuracy and responsivenessThe ideal candidate will possess:
Demonstrated ability to adjust rules and processes for individual situations, and escalate complex problems as neededDemonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and using critical thinking and problem-solving skillsThe essential requirements of the job include:
A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry) with a minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing role (e.
g.
, Retail Associate, Sales Representative, Account Manager), ORAn Associate degree with a minimum of two years of experience at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), ORA high school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of three years of experience in the Genomics or Life Sciences field.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in customer service or other relevant customer-facing roleExperience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) with basic understanding of differences between ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications as it relates to manufacturing processes and change controlsDemonstrated ability to assess processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improvementWe offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
