*Job Summary*

The ASG Solutions Engineer - Managed Services is focused on supporting sales to drive growth of SHI's managed services business by selling to new and existing SHI customers. The individual will be the subject matter expert in SHI's managed services portfolio and leverage a consultative sales approach to qualify opportunities, understand customer needs and budget, position services and pricing, overcome objections, collect customer data, and work the opportunity to contract signature.

This position will report to the Solutions Director or Solutions Manager in the Advanced Solutions Group.

This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

+ Collaboratingwith?account teamstounderstand the maturity levels of customer cloud environments through review and evaluation of cloud technologies, consumption, implementations, andprocesses?

+ Designingand proposing?cloud?solutions?that meet customer's businessobjectives?

+ Collaboratingwith sales teamsto drive the solution,including making recommendations and aligningthenext steps forasale?

+ Strengthening?technical?relationships?with?original equipment manufacturers (OEMs),?strategic and emerging partners,?and key?cloud?partners

+ Educatingsales teams on?cloud?solution selling and key technologies?through 1x1 training, team training,and company training?

+ Conductingproduct training and positioning for?the?sales team and customer?

*Qualifications*

+ Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent ?work experience?

+ Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platforms?

*Required Skills*

+ Highcapacityto design cloud infrastructure including?hybrid cloud,hyper-converged, infrastructure/platform as a service, micro-services, security, IAM, andgovernance?

+ Ability to work with?cloud?architecture frameworks?such as?CSA,?Microsoft Azure Reference Architecture,?andAWS?architecture bestpractices?

+ Excellent presentation Skills?

+ Must beresults-drivenwitha strong senseofurgency?

+ Attention to detail, organization, andfollow-upskills arecritical?

*Certifications Required*

+ Will berequiredto obtain from 12 months from hire date:?

+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred to have upon application)?

+ Azure Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred to have upon application) *Preferred Certifications:* _The following are not_ _required_ _, however are considered a plus._ ?

+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional?

+ AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty?

+ Microsoft AZ-100, 300, or 500 Series certifications?

+ MCSA - Cloud Platform?

+ MCSE - Cloud Platform and Infrastructure?

+ Google Cloud Platform Architect?

+ Red Hat Certified Engineer in Red Hat OpenStack?

+ Other relevant certifications for public cloud, DevOps, containers, etc.?

*Unique Requirements*

+ Travel to conferences, meetings and partner/customer sites as needed, up to 20%

*Additional Information*

+ The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
