Solarity Credit Union is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager at our North 5th branch in Yakima, WA!
As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead the organization in strategic recruitment, selection, and development of high-performing A-players, resulting in retention of the most highly engaged and skilled workforce of any financial institution in the Northwest.
Strategically manage risk factors inherent with employment matters to protect, grow, and evolve the organization.
Create efficiencies through process improvements that result in impactful use of resources - rote, operational tasks become automated while strategic, performance-based work is elevated.

The top candidate will have:


Bachelor's degree in business/HR/finance/related field or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
Minimum of five years supervisory experience.
Experience training large groups and management level groups.
A day in the life of our Human Resources Manager:

In this role, you'll draw on a diverse set of skills and knowledge to manage various tasks and responsibilities.
Your day begins by leveraging your knowledge of project management principles to organize, plan, and prioritize the workload, ensuring that deadlines are met, and projects stay on track.
Throughout the day, you'll use your expertise in human resource laws and regulations, compensation and benefits policies, and administrative procedures to ensure compliance and maintain smooth operations.
Your understanding of customer service, business management, and economic and accounting principles will help you make informed decisions that benefit both the team and the organization.
As a leader, you'll demonstrate strong supervisory, leadership, and interpersonal skills, offering clear guidance and providing constructive feedback to employees.
You'll monitor team performance and progress, ensuring that everyone is on track and collaborating effectively.
Your ability to manage difficult situations with composure will be critical when challenges arise, allowing you to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
