ABOUT THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP:
Duck Creek's Summer Internship program is from
May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025 . The program is intended for current students in the Boston area taking coursework in related fields to gain practical work experience in their area of study. Our engaging intern program includes opportunities to connect with company leaders, partner with peer interns, all while advancing skillsets related to outlined project-based work.
WHAT WE WILL CALL THIS POSITION:
Human Resources Intern
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Human Resources Intern will gain experience and exposure to work being done by the various teams within the Duck Creek Human Resources team (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management/Development, Talent Acquisition or Shared Services). They will assist and support varied and current HR projects including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent metrics, employee engagement, employee value propositions / employment brand, performance management, and/or learning and leadership development. The Intern will have the opportunity to provide analysis and opinions on projects, department-wide operations, recommend and participate in implementation of business process-improvement initiatives and actively participate in other company-wide intern related activities.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's in human resources. (Preferably an undergraduate degree)
Previous HR internship experience preferred, but not required
Demonstrated ability to utilize data and analytics
Assist in drafting correspondence, talking points, reports and presentations
Gather and analyze data from different sources and assist with identification and analysis of trends and patterns in data
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Partnership and collaboration skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers
High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, takes initiative/self-directed
Consistently demonstrates innovative thinking
WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW:
Other Important skillsets:
Ability to manage deadlines, communicate in a team, and operate independently with guidance
Hybrid Commitment : 2-3 days in the office per week at our Boston Office.
Work Authorization:
Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location. The company does not sponsor visa petitions now or in the future for this role.
