A Commercial Laundry Repair Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.

Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following:

Responsibly follow all procedures & policies regarding repairs & maintenance.
Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
Supports high performance in a professional healthcare & hospitality laundry environment through cleanliness and infection prevention.
Works in conjunction with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
Ability to trouble shoot any mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
Projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to:
1. Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
2. Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)
3. Electrical
4. Plumbing
5. Electronics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to effectively complete mechanical or electrical tasks in an industrial environment.
Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexibility.

Work Hours:

Morning or evening shift available
May include working on the weekends or during Holidays.

Physical / Mental Requirements:

Position is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Position is regularly required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, talk, and hear.
Position is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Job Location:74-5475 Loloku Street, Honolulu HI 96740Wage Information:

The wage is no less than $25.00 per hour. Overtime pay starts at $37.50 per hour.
A higher rate than $25.00 may be offered, the overtime rate will be calculated 1.5X the offered hourly rate.
Our Company's pay period starts on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday. A single work week will be used to compute the wages due.
Our payroll period is weekly, and workers are paid on the following Thursday after the end of the pay period.
Rate increases and/or bonuses may be offered at the Company's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure.
The Company will make deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Workers may elect to participate in our benefits plans such as medical, drug, vision, dental, FSA and other voluntary insurance plans, in which a share in premium may be deducted.
Any deductions will be preauthorized in writing.

The working environment is typical of an industrial facility including noise and vibration. An employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Personal Protective Equipment will be required for certain tasks.
