About the Role

HomeSafe Alliance is seeking a meticulous and analytical Financial Analyst to join our corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, with the ability to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across the organization. This position plays a critical role in monitoring financial performance and supporting senior management with financial analysis to drive business strategy.

Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting & Internal Controls Compliance:

• Analyze and interpret revenue and cost data, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for enhancing strategies.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

• Support internal audits and ensure adherence to corporate governance and reporting standards.

Systems & Process Improvement / Ad-hoc reporting

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, and tracking of significant volumes of Move Task Orders

• Work with the IT and accounting teams to ensure effective use of financial software and reporting tools for monthly reporting.

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by senior management, or external stakeholders.

• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or a related field

• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (Oracle, Costpoint, FCCS), and advanced Excel skills (working with VBA scripts etc. )

• Must be a U. S. citizen due to contractual requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communicator, able to present complex financial data

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks

• Self-starter/proactive, expected to take initiative to research issues and provide solutions

• Experience in medium to large-sized operational accounting environments

• Detail oriented and highly organized

• Ability to deliver under tight deliverable deadlines

Note : This position is fully remote / work from home. HomeSafe will supply appropriate equipment, employee provided high speed internet is required.
