*Overview*

Seaman/ Deck Hands will be assigned to safely and successfully accomplish all assigned training support operations. Deck Hands will report to the First Mate and Boat Captain.

*Responsibilities*

+ Provide basic line handling and deck seamanship duties and will be responsible for the operation of support equipment required to accomplish the assigned recovery and non-recovery training operations.

+ Other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications*

+ US Coast Guard (USCG) Ordinary Seaman Ocean license

+ Must pass a pre-employment drug check

+ Top Secret Clearance required.

+ Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, and articulate manner to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication.

+ Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.

+ Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.

+ Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.

+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

+ Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of common database and reporting tools.

Reports to: Senior Director, Program Manager

Working Conditions

+ Professional office environment

+ Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office

+ productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

+ Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

+ Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines.

+ Ability to perform administrative duties for an extended period of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with

+ sufficient speed to meet the demands of the duties.

+ May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
