ROLE
The Electro-optical Assembler is responsible for assembling optical components and systems to meet specified tolerances and quality standards, while also working continuous learning initiatives.
This role demands precision, attention to detail, and teamwork to uphold the high-quality standards expected at G&H Cleveland.

RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Optical and Electromechanical Assembly:
Assemble components and systems according to work instructions and training, ensuring precise handling and placement to achieve required tolerances.
Prepare components for assembly, including cleaning and organizing materials as needed.
Quality Inspection and Documentation:
Inspect parts and assemblies for cosmetic and functional quality.
Record assembly processes for traceability and improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively suggest changes in working conditions, layout, or equipment use to enhance efficiency.
Provide feedback on assembly processes and assist in updating work instructions.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues to achieve production goals.
Encourage a customer-focused approach, fostering open and proactive communication.
Packaging:
Package finished goods with care for shipment to customers, ensuring products are securely and properly packed.
General Duties:
As part of the G&H Cleveland team, you will participate in daily operational tasks, including preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining workspaces, handling recyclables, and other tasks typically found in a small company.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Technical Skills:
Proficient in handling assembly tools and equipment for optical and electromechanical systems.
Attention to Detail:
High standard of accuracy in assembly, inspection and documentation.
Cleanroom Protocols:
Adhere to and maintain a controlled environment for electro-optical assemblies.
Follow work instructions for cleanliness, contamination control, while properly using gowns, gloves and shoe covers to comply with company standards.
Continuous Learning:
Shows initiative to learn new processes and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
