JOB SUMMARY [Responsibilities include cab preparation, paint preparation, paint application and paint repairs. Individuals are expected to prepare surfaces by sandblasting, sanding, washing, calking, spot filling, with bon-doe and hanging products in racks for painting. Applicants must possess the skill and knowledge of disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling paint sprayers, brushes and other power equipment. Individuals must determine the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat and minimize any rework to ensure a quality product. They are also responsible for preparing the paint and products properly; applying both a primer and top coat of paint using various industrial paints.

Interprets print specifications, r eads work orders, inspects condition of cabs and other products .
Prepare surfaces using hand and power tools, required for sanding, caulking and filling.
Mask and tape for paint work and protective requirements.
Prepare paint booth equipment.
Mix paint and components and match colors.
Operate cranes in order to move equipment and materials so that areas to be painted are accessible.
Use equipment, brush or spray guns to apply primer, paint, enamel, lacquer or other non-metallic protective and decorative coatings to cabs and products.
Measure and mix paint to meet supplier/customer requirements and verify paint consistency, using a viscosity meter.
Inspect job and repair faults.
Apply paint touch up techniques.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Prioritizing job duties and maintain and eye for detail and quality of work.
Properly estimates paint quantities and other materials needed for paint process.
Able to verify quality of finished paint using mill measures and gloss reading devices.
Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
Arrives to work, meetings and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
Keeps work area orderly, clean, and safe.
PERIPHERAL DUTIES
Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Performs other duties as assigned.
