CMC of Georgia , an OEM supplier and custom metal fabricator with over a century in business, is seeking Aluminum Welders to join their team in Toccoa, GA .

If you have at least 6 months of aluminum MIG and/or TIG welding experience , this is an opportunity you need to explore! Veteran welders encouraged to apply as well!

Above-average pay : earn between $60,000-$70,000 a year, paid hourly at $25-28/hour (includes overtime)

Ideal daytime schedule : Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Overtime is voluntary, never mandatory

Clear path for promotions and raises

Duties and Responsibilities:

Weld flat, horizontal, and vertical plane geometry.

Understand various edge preps before welding.

Good understanding of set up techniques, and joint cleaning procedures for aluminum.

Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.

Quality control of incoming and completed product as per print and/or standards.

Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of parts and weldments.

Keeps the work area clean and organized.

Arrives at work, meetings and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.

Wear and use the appropriate PPE for the task being done.
