This is with Tavant.
Responsible for supporting cloud strategies at scale leveraging Python, Golang and Terraform tooling,
promoting infrastructure as code to accelerate our cloud program.

The AWS Cloud Engineer III will be implementing best practices based secure architecture within our
public cloud environment. The ideal candidate has experience in modern cloud practices ranging from
micro services-based architectures, cloud infrastructure services, guardrails, identity and artificial
intelligence. This role requires innovative implementation experience to ensure success in our
transformational journey.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-on role, responsible for the implementation of AWS cloud strategy including infrastructure,
machine learning and artificial intelligence platform services.
Build cloud-native services to support application teams and contribute to the development of cloud
infrastructure automation.
Support application teams in leveraging cloud based artificial intelligence platforms and services,
enhancing internal customer experiences.
Create and maintain technical documentation for the team to reference and share with our internal
customers
Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members through coaching and training.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or comparable with 5+ years of relevant
experience
Demonstrated experience in Python and Golang coding languages
Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code best practices and experience with building
Terraform modules for AWS cloud.
Demonstrated experience with AWS organizations and policy guardrails (SCP, AWS Config)
Demonstrated understanding of AWS native networking services and cloud DNS, inclusive of
TGW, VPC, DXGW, NLB, GWLB, is a plus
Experience deploying production applications into cloud environments
Experience with RESTful APIs and scripting
AWS certification is required
Experience with Git, AWS serverless technologies, containerized workloads and Jenkins orchestration
is a plus
Financial industry experience is a plus.
Demonstrated understanding of artificial intelligence foundation models such as Claude, Llama 2,
Titan, Jurassic, GPT is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
