Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support for Campus Recreation and Intramurals as a Recreation Facility Assistant on the Statesboro campus beginning Spring 2025.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

This position is a part of CRI's Job Fair, October 28 - November 15, 2024.

Responsibilities

* Operates the Equipment Desk, Front Desk, and Member Services area during facility operating hours

* Verifies membership through RecTrac Facility Management Software / Bi Metrics

* Monitors all participants and guests as they enter and exit the facility

* Serves as a roving recreation assistant

* Assists in the safety, supervision, and set-up of free play equipment in all open recreation areas including the main gymnasium, MAC gymnasium, racquetball concourse, and multipurpose room

Shift Specifics

* Up to 20 hours per week

* Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

* Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Proposed Salary

$9. 00 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
