Lynn Leonard & Associates, staff counsel for State Farm, is looking for talented Attorneys to join our dynamic Claim Litigation office. At State Farm, you will take full ownership of your cases from inception to conclusion, gaining diverse experiences each day. You will handle litigation events, engage with clients, and collaborate with your peers while receiving support from staff. Without the pressure of hourly billing, our attorneys are empowered to strategize on trial and case development throughout the litigation process. We foster career development opportunities in a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office time as needed at our location:
5555 Glenridge Connector, Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage litigation and legal assignments in accordance with Law Department guidelines.
Prepare and summarize reports for various legal proceedings.
Develop trial strategies and contribute to case development.
Attend and represent us at litigation events such as trials, mediations, depositions, and hearings.

Qualifications:

Experience:
2-15 years of civil trial litigation with preferable experience in insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, or workers' compensation. Exceptional criminal jury trial experience will also be considered.
Key Skills:
Proficient in jury trial, mediation, and deposition experience; file ownership; knowledge of local and state discovery rules and trial procedures; excellent written and oral communication skills; and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Technology:
Competence in handling cases electronically; familiarity with Case Management and Document Storage systems.
Education:
J.D. from an A.B.A. accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials; must possess an active law license in Georgia and be in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.

Additional Details:

Eligible candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. State Farm does not sponsor work visas.
State Farm attorneys cannot engage in outside legal practice or business while employed.
Travel may be required as part of the job.
Flexibility in hours may be needed.

Our Benefits:

State Farm prioritizes work-life balance with a competitive standard work week of 38:
45 hours.

Potential starting salary range:
$104,000.00-$160,000.00, based on experience.
Yearly incentive pay up to 20% of base salary.
