SCOPE Recruiting.com is seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Agent to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services that meet the needs of our organization and its clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely procurement of materials.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, supplier contracts, and purchasing activities.
Facilitate communication between vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues related to procurement.
Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Knowledge of market trends and sourcing strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
