$22.00Job SummaryConducts training of Production Laborers on processes for their assigned production line.
As well as performs skill development activities with current Production Laborers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Champion safety rules and regulationsPerform and teach all basic processes and procedures within assigned department including machine operation, change overs, and advanced troubleshooting along with defect identification and inspectionThroughout new Production Laborers' introductory period, review development of skills, ability, and knowledge of their department and Purple culture with the Line Manager.Document training on individual training records and training matrixUpdate Line Manager on completed and incomplete trainingEvaluate all operators in the department for conformance with procedures periodically during the review periodEnsure production flow rates through continuous training of Production LaborersWork with Line Manager and other trainers to solve training issuesPromote continuous improvement processes and proceduresGive feedback to the Line Manager regarding operator progress and evaluation of skills and abilitiesAssists with the implementation of company training programs in assigned departmentMaintain accurate data reporting in Purple proprietary software systemsFacilitate work cell process changeover from shift to shiftWorks as an operator in various production settings to accomplish production goalsDrive machine efficiency and labor effectivenessAbility to attend off-shift events.
Overtime may be requiredAssist line manager in promoting daily quality, safety, and throughput targetsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills, Education, Experience:
High School Diploma or GED1 year of experience in manufacturing processing and/or assembly areas preferred.Prior experience conducting training in a manufacturing environment is preferredBasic lean principles and 5S knowledge preferredPhysical Requirements:
