We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Upper School to lead our Upper School into an exciting new chapter. The Walker School is a premier independent Pre-K3 through Grade 12 school located in Marietta, GA, just minutes from downtown Atlanta. As Head of Upper School, You Will

Lead with purpose: Oversee all aspects of the Upper School's daily operations, from student life to academic programs to faculty development.

Inspire innovation: Work with faculty to foster forward-thinking programs that prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world.

Shape young minds: Support student success by creating an environment that balances academic excellence with social-emotional growth.

Empower your team: Mentor and support Upper School faculty, guiding their professional growth and championing collaboration.

Bring our mission to life: Ensure that every aspect of the Upper School aligns with The Walker School's mission and strategic goals.

What You Bring to the Table

A Master's degree in education, school leadership, or a related field.

Extensive teaching and leadership experience, preferably in an independent school setting.

A deep commitment to diversity and belonging in education.

High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills.

A collaborative spirit with a knack for solving problems and thinking outside the box.
