5x8s - Days Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Op Travel Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our team in Atlanta, GA.
In this role, you will prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are medically ready, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.

Key Responsibilities of the Pre-Op Registered Nurse Patient Preparation:
Assess and prepare patients for surgery, including reviewing medical history and ensuring pre-op instructions are followed.
Monitoring:
Conduct preoperative assessments such as vital signs, EKGs, and lab results to ensure patient stability.
Communication:
Educate patients and families about the surgical process, answering questions and providing reassurance.
Collaboration:
Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to ensure a seamless transition into surgery.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
Requirements for the Pre-Op Registered Nurse Role BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications (required).
GA RN License (required).
2 years of experience in Pre-Op nursing or a similar role.
