Avita Community Partners is excited to announce a new career opportunity for a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to join the ACT Team.
The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program serves individuals in the community and provides 24 hours, seven days a week support to those individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.
This position is based in Gainesville, GA.
The job requires:

Specific expertise in providing substance abuse treatment.

Clinical skills and experience to assess, plan and develop, coordinate and provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services to program clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader and the psychiatrist.

Provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services.
Be part of the on call clinical treatment team and rotate 24 hour on-call duties with team members.
Must be willing to use personal vehicle due to services provided both in the office and in the community.
Will be assigned rotating on-call duties.

Minimum Requirements and Credentials:

CACI/NADCI or CACII/NADCII salary dependent on level of certification
