Job Title: Process Excellence Manager

Compensation: $160,000 $180,000 Per Year

Relocation Assistance: Full relocation is available

The Process Excellence Manager will drive the utilization of continuous improvement (CI) and High-Performance Organization (HPO) tools across the plant. This role is essential in coaching pillar leaders and plant teams to adopt the companys Process Excellence program, aligning with company and HPO standards to ensure the facility meets its operational goals. The manager will become an essential CI resource, working closely with leadership to foster a culture of loss elimination and employee engagement, which is critical for achieving site objectives.

HPO Systems Development:

You will assist the site leadership team develop HPO systems and practices from the planning phase to plant operations.
Support plant leadership and pillar leaders in building high-performance capabilities across all levels of the organization.

Pillar Tool Utilization and Consistency:

Implement uniform pillar practices throughout the plant.
Make sure to implement effective lead line processes throughout the site quickly.

Master Planning and Loss Analysis:

Ensure compliance with the master planning timelines.
Ensure the sites loss analysis action plan and performance modeling are completed and reviewed.

Phase Assessments and Performance Management:

Conduct internal and external evaluations to achieve process excellence.
Enhance results management by establishing and reviewing metrics and targets at all levels of the organization.
Help pillar leaders make decisions based on data and guide them through the gap analysis process.

The typical schedule in the plant for the leadership team is MF, 6:30 am / 7 am, and wrap up by 4 pm

The plant salaried leadership team has grown from 24 to over 40 in the last 12-18 months.
Significant capital investment in the plant as well (commitments of $25 million for this and the next two fiscal years each)

Role supports:

CI: Look for kaizen, Six Sigma, green or black belt black, TPM, lean, and pillars (FI, AM, PM, etc.).
Part of the senior leadership team for the site

Our client wants someone to support CI and transformation. I need someone who can influence others (this work involves leading through others), has a passion for and strength in training, and pulls pillar owners together.

Direct reports:

1 = Education and Training Leader (salaried role) - supports step-up card/tier progression training, part of NHO, creates learnings in Workday and manages that, etc. Our client prefers someone with management experience but will consider someone with potential.
Candidates should be on the floor, building relationships, sharing knowledge of tools, ways to use them, etc.
This plant is in phase 1 operations excellence with a proprietary program based on P&Gs IWS systems, so it is learning and starting to understand and use CI tools.
Eligible for 15% LTI, 15% AIP, and 2% holiday bonus

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree.
Strong experience in plant operations with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), IWS (Integrated Work Station), HPO (HighPerformance Organization), or similar.
Food manufacturing experience
Proven success in delivering and sustaining improved business results.
I am skilled in training, facilitation, and group leadership.
Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, capable of working across all organizational levels.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in an IWS or TPM pillar environment.
Prior management or coaching experience.
