Our intensive care unit at Piedmont Newton offers the following advanced therapeutic modalities:
Targeted Temperature Management post-cardiac arrest Invasive and Non-Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring Hemodialysis Management of patients having or requiring:
Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA) Sepsis and multi-system organ failure Heart Failure Management Pulmonary Hypertension Ventilator management Continuous bipap management Post-surgical management The critical care unit at Piedmont Newton uses:
Bedside report handoff at change of shift Purposeful Rounding for safety and service Quality initiatives such as pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention, infection prevention strategies for central lines and indwelling urinary catheters, etc.

Graduate of a nursing program MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.
