Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility based in multiple openings available in Georgia. This is a full-time 3+ months of contract with high possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Phlebotomist

Duration:
3+ months with possibilities of extension

Location:
Multiple openings available in Georgia

Shift:
1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm / 8 am - 5 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Perform verification of patient demographic info/initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
Maintains required records and documentation.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.

• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
