Summary
A successful candidate will play an active role in the City of College Park's existing operational success. The purpose of the position is to perform heavy, manual labor in the areas of water, sewer, sanitation, stormwater, and buildings and grounds. Successful performance helps ensure safe and efficient Public Works services, as well as a positive public image for the City of College Park.
Essential Functions
Independent judgment is required to identify, select and apply the most appropriate of available guidelines and procedures as well as interpret precedents. This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of the City of College Park's water and sewer systems.
