Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, competitive, and energetic Account Manager based in the Chicago area. Candidates must reside in Chicago and have sales experience in the furniture/gift industry. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth by engaging with both our existing customer base and potential new clients. You will work directly in the field within your territory, focusing on identifying new sales opportunities and maximizing existing relationships. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently achieve growth targets, demonstrating initiative and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Aggressively and proactively promote Jaipur Living's diverse product line, including rugs, pillows, throws, accent furniture, and merchandising solutions, through direct sales calls and on-site customer visits.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, leveraging insights into their business challenges and opportunities to tailor sales strategies.
Maintain regular communication with customers via phone, email, and in-person visits, ensuring active accounts receive attention every eight weeks and dormant accounts are engaged four to six times per year.
Ensure stores have the proper collateral to maximize their Jaipur Living sales
Develop new business through referrals, networking, and cold calling
Utilize company-provided tools, including Salesforce. com, to meticulously track customer interactions and sales activities.
Attend trade shows to connect with new and existing customers and prospects
Resolve customer issues and manage/escalate concerns as appropriate
Stay informed on customer and industry trends, competition, and product knowledge to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance, to support customer needs and enhance sales strategies.
Generate detailed sales reports on customer and product performance, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Create and manage sales opportunities and pipelines within Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and strategic planning.

QualificationsSkills & Minimum Qualifications:
