Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program (required)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)
Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
Responsibilities:

Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
• The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations*
